Painting of cherry blossoms and birds chirpintg on a bamboo fence. Inspired by the fleeting beauty of spring. Cherry blossoms or sakura are a national flower of Japan. Sakura symbolise the end of winter, spring, and new life. 

The bamboo fences are often seen in Kyoto, in the old quarters, and, perhaps in many parts of Japan, especially in the countryside. The fence looks very natural and birds make a good composition, chirping under cherry trees, waiting for spring. These cherry trees and birds on the fence are my tribute to the cherry blossoms and the beauty of spring.

The painting is signed, sealed, wet-mounted on backing rice paper and ready to be framed or mounted on a silk scroll. Please use acid-free adhesives when framing. It is manually cut, please leave a few mm error margin for dimensions. Colours may differ due to differences in devices.
